If the sinister were removed from the world life would be a celebration instead of a drudgery. There would be no need for jobs just to keep the masses busy. There would be no need for money, bills, or needs in general.
If everyone used their talents to the fullest and we existed not for the needs but for celebration, life would have real meaning. Each day would be full of wonder, the boring would be removed. Silly notions such as cost will be replaced with the common question, "Why not?"
Everyone would be a performer in one way or another, we would be motivated by our inspiration to create, laugh and love. We would not have to search for an audience, people would no longer be busy in the rat race and would have time to enjoy creation. The best of the old world will be renewed and the worst will be forgotten.
As things are this all seems like a fairy tale, but doesn't everything good start with a dream? If life was a festival showcasing creation would you have a place in it? The choice is personal, nobody can make it for you, you are either part of the new world or not there is no in between.

Over The Top
As a kid I was thrilled by what I now consider silly and over the top. I still enjoy comics and anime, but now my tastes are refined. Characters must have depth and prove themselves human in order to be endearing to me.
Instead of completely discarding what is "childish" I try to embrace the essence of what inspired me in the first place. Heroes and villains set the standard, pushing the limits can turn into cheap thrills if the human factor is forgotten. When the excess gets in the way it destroys the purity of a creation leaving an empty shell.
The unabashed violence of comics and anime seem like too much on the surface but when we look at it from a spiritual point of view it seems appropriate. Good vs evil is all or nothing, to pull any punches would mean failure. The uncompromising determination of a hero who stands strong in the face of evil will always inspire me.
It is not required that heroes posses extravagant powers or villains be all powerful for a story to be inspiring. Over the top is better than lukewarm by far but both fall short in the end. Finding that pure inspiration and shaping something refined out of it is the pinnacle of creation and something I constantly strive for.
