Job satisfaction comes from doing what you love and loving what you do. First you have to find your talents, that can be a task that can take a lot of soul searching. Once you find your talents it's important to not waste them and apply them to everything you do.
In the process of finding our talents we may be in a job we don't like but it's important to learn and grow even in the those mundane moments. We should put all of ourselves in anything we do. Remember a job is voluntary never feel like you have to be stuck in a job that is wasting your talents.
Our work should be from us and should be fueled with passion. If we can't find the passion for what we are doing we should move on to something else. It takes courage, imagination, and drive to take that step forward to do what you were meant for but once you do there is no turning back it's all or nothing.
There are few pleasures that can rival a job well done. It helps when you love what you do. Otherwise, it becomes a daily drudgery and should be speedily replaced.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, often people feel stuck at a job that they hate but rarely do they realize they have the keys to the shackles.
DeleteTotally! We either live as a cog in a machine only to be thrown away when we wear down or break... or we live from within and bring something personal into the world.
ReplyDeleteOnly what is personal is worth while, ungrateful masters would love to use us as fodder but it's up to us to not give them the chance.
DeleteHuman beings are much more capable of being human when they are free. Jobs do nothing to help creativity along. We were all meant to break out into careers. Anyone who accepts a job as normal and permanent deserves no respect.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, it takes gumption to take those first steps to break free and if a person lacks such gumption then they indeed deserve no respect.
